WHEN YOUR ADVOCATE RETURNS AS YOUR JUDGE.

WHEN YOUR OWN LAWYER BECOMES YOUR JUDGE WHO JUDGES YOU JUSTLY.

A lady committed a crime and she was sent to court. The punishment for the crime was life imprisonment. She shed tears for help but to no avail. When the case was called in court she started weeping. Her husband, family and friends who accompanied her started weeping but there was no hope.

 Something happened. Before the lady could stand in the witness box a man stood up and the court room was silent. Everyone looked at Him. He was noble and gentle. He stood in the witness box and interceded on behalf of the woman.

The case was difficult, yet He used all His strength, energy and resources to fight on behalf of the woman. After a long legal battle between the man and the accusers, the lady was set free. The lady fell before the man and asked, " who are you?" The next day the lady deliberately committed another crime and was sent to the same court. As soon as she entered the courtroom, she saw the man who interceded for her the previous day on the judgement seat.

 He was no longer a lawyer, but a judge. With smiles on her face the lady said, "You remember me? I am the lady you represented the other time in this court!" The man lifted his head and said, "yesterday I was a lawyer, so I fought for you, even when you were guilty, but today I am a judge and my judgement must be fair."

With tears in her eyes she asked for the second time, " Who are you Sir?"  and the man replied, "Yesterday i was your intercessor, your advocate and savior, today i am sitting on the throne of justice. I am the judge. I must judge you according to your iniquities. You are guilty as charged.

Today Christ Jesus is our lawyer and redeemer, but a day is coming when He will give  fair judgement to everyone. Jesus is coming soon as he promised, the same way he went to heaven. He is coming to judge each one according to his deeds. Are you ready? Repent and mend your errant ways.

REST IN PEACE FALLEN KAPENGURIA SEVEN. My deepest condolences to the bereft families of seven slain gallant, patriotic officers in Kapenguria. This is an article I wrote on the daily nation last year April last year. I have just read it again and I can’t help being remorseful. Police officers go through a lot.   It is sad that by trying to uphold the law, they paid with their dear lives. The officers resolve to remand in custody a man suspected of links with Alshabaab terror group, led to their encounter with the brutal gun Burrell. It is completely ridiculous and preposterous to blame the police officers for their own death and to concoct somehow a political narrative out of this unfortunate occurrence.    Of course the police know better that apart from protecting the lives of the masses, their own security is paramount. WHY IEBC MUST NOT RENEGE ON THE 48,000 VOTERS.

WHY IEBC SHOULD NOT RENEGE ON ELECTION RULES. Wafula   Chebukati, must be the most troubled man, sitting on such a hot seat that is the IEBC chair. I am intrigued by his meeting with the presidential aspirants yesterday and how the contenders are pushing him over the cliff to waver on laid down rules concerning presidential nominations. I don’t find any reason why a country like Kenya should register such a huge number of aspirants for the post of president. It is preposterous and laughable for IEBC to waste resources including all these twenty aspirants in the ballot paper. Even if having such an astronomical number of aspirants does not affect the cost of the ballot paper, it will definitely create a huge impact on the final tally of the presidential votes.   It will lead to lots of spoilt votes. The vast list of contenders will lead to confusion especially on illiterate and semi illiterate voters who have nobody to help them vote their preferred candidate. There...
