THE ELECTIONS ARE GONE

Kenyans in Nairobi chose Sonko over Peter Keneth. They are choosing Anne Waiguru over Martha Karua. Jaguar over Boniface Mwangi. They are choosing Anyang nyongo, Cyprian Awiti; Do you expect Kenya to have elected a new President?

The truth is that, Turn out carried the day. A good friend of mine has just made me laugh my heart out. The voting day was a holiday. Now her neighbor who was an eligible voter did not open his door. Apparently the guy had his girlfriend come over and they did not even open the door to step outside the whole day.

As bizarre as it may sound. Two votes were wallowing in love while serious Kenyans, most of whom spent on the gates of polling stations in order to make a ballot decision.

Most people are just KOT, or talkers they cannot even vote. These election results, if IEBC produces all Form 34s and 35s should not be disputed. And loser then must publicly accept that the majority must carry the day.

Elections are not decided by popularity or ideology par sei, but more importantly the turn out of the people.

Another important facet is the rejected votes. Surely, IEBC must rethink voting. 6 elections at once, same time, 6 different ballot papers. With some having nearly 30 contestants. Why should we allow a whole 8 presidential candidates? These elections should be split into phases.

Even the colours of the ballot papers were a bit confusing and as a result, may be some ballots ended up in the wrong box.

Though some people want to believe, there were protest votes where the protesters went to vote for the other 5 positions and deliberately spoiled the presidential vote, I don't agree. I think if somebody wanted to protest the presidential contest because both Uhuru and Raila are both sides of the same coin then they would have voted for Ekuru Aukot or Abduba Dida.

A sad truth is that voter education was insufficient and hence could have also contributed to the elephantine number of rejected votes. Most Kenyans do not understand governance, in fact many Kenyans do not understand how states operate, how those in power misuse and abuse power. How state resources are embezzled and how lucrative government contracts and jobs are irregularly awarded for personal gains and how governance affect the life of the common man.

A FEW PICKS ABOUT VALENTINE AND BROKEN HEARTS.

I have been following on Valentine's day heartbreaking escapades of what sacrifices guys made for the sake of love, and am left in a reality limbo. The question that rings in my mind is is if indeed love exists? A man braced himself for a two year jail term sentence for an offence which was perpetrated by his lover. Sadly the girl who stole from her father a good amount of money went ahead to incriminate her husband after they had agreed the husband would come in to stand in for his wife in prison. By the time the guy was released from incarceration his love had left him. In a separate incidence a lady boycotted their wedding, broke a relationship two days to the wedding, fled and eloped with a white German man. It happened that two days to the wedding, one of the brides maid called the groom who was far from the wedding venue, telling him the wedding was bound not to be. The groom got concerned,,travelled down south to interrogate the issue one on one. When he found the bride,...

MONEY MAKES MAN MAD

Money is the exact opposite of the Holy spirit. Money changes people. When a poor person finally gets money, the person changes like a snake that sheds it's exo-skeleton or like a caterpillar that becomes a butterfly or a moth. The moth can never remember it's Caterpillar life.  Wait! Almost everyone who was not borne in a flood of money. Some men immediately start to think, they can be sponsors or even to the extreme end, add onto themselves more wives and concubines. Some men all of a sudden fall out of love with the women who stood with them at their lowest height below poverty level.  The worse though are women. when a woman who had not known money comes to find good money in the palm of her hands. Immediately she compulsively feels, " I don't need a man. Where can I take a man. I am independent. I can pay my rent, buy any clothe I want, I can buy a car and do everything I want. No I don't need a man."  That is when a married woman stops ...

KENYATTA NATIONAL HOSPITAL EXPOSED BY CITIZEN TV

THE NURSES STRIKE. The filth going on at Kenyatta National Hospital should be the basis on which the 47 % of the registered voters, purportedly supporting such an irresponsible government; change their mind to vote against that government which neglects the sick while marauding to have in mind health services. The image Aired internationally on Citizen TV today on 03/08/2017 has tarnished the reputation of Uhuru's government. I don't know how Jubilee can mend their dirty underwear aired in public today. All this time nurses have been on strike, demonstrating daily as Kenyans brace themselves for a Cholera republic, starting from Weston and other 8 star hotel. Right inside the hospital, the environment is pathetic. With the eyesores some sane Kenyans still want to vote back a government that has turned a deaf ear on a national crisis on health. The government cannot by any means turn its back on the nurses strike. Policing on health still lies with the national governmen...
