I still can’t fathom what the writers of our constitution thought when they deliberately crafted this clause, which in my view contravenes chapter four about, no grounds of discrimination. There are many women who have proved themselves better than men when it comes to leadership or popularity. Why should we spoil a few women with leadership rewards? They will not deliver commensurate to expectation because politicians will nominate their girlfriends, cronies, side chicks, relatives and sycophants.    We don’t need a law to elect women into leadership. I think I have finally figured what is going on in the sugar industry.  I'm looking at the other subsidiary industries in agriculture and I'm convinced the government is chief suspect in this perennial problem. Sugar problem is an economic sabotage to the people living around the sugar belt. Now this is my opinion. The genesis of sugar problem in the market is the Jubilee government itself. Immediately Jubilee came into power, sugar companies started crumbling piece by piece. A people who are economically disempowered are also politically disenfranchised. Political muscles are supported by a skeleton of economic power. Am saying the death of sugar factories was a well orchestrated onslaught against the people of western Kenya. This is why the sugar cartels are an interconnected framework of sub-cartels touching on those to whom the back of governance of this country stops. IS VALENTINES DAY WORTH DYING FOR! Yesterday I was astounded by the unfortunate passing on of a man from Baringo county. Apparently the guy chose to take his life by drowning himself in a dam. His love, a young lady had declined his proposal to spend the valentine's day with him. It is sad that some people actually kill themselves over such trivial things like valentines day. BANNING IS NEVER THE SOLUTION. I have learnt banning anything in Kenya is never a solution but a source of problems. The best case scenario is the banning of the night bus travel. Just imagine how the dumb-ass decision has affected individual and national economies. You booked a bus at ksh 800 pre season and now you are being told you have to part with about ksh 2000, this Njaanuary. The same to banning Shisha. Where is the wisdom in banning shisha and leaving behind the same tobacco in other forms? In short we approve of the same toxic chemicals bot not for  the piped form? Does it really create any difference even if one session of shisha is equal to smocking five packets of cigarettes? I don't think so. Cigarette and other toxic drugs are but a matter of choice between life and  death. Everybody should be left to bear his own choice. What about banning of plastic paper bags?
