IN THE BATTLE WITH AMNESIA

AMNESIA HOW IT BASHED ME

Today in the aggressiveness of the morning cold. I woke up to a string of eerie thoughts. The thought of the proverbial partially amnesiac lady. Who left her office at four o’clock in the evening? Rushed down the stairs to the car park. While at the car park. She looked around, alas!, there was no signs of her car. She quickly rummaged into her classy pink purse, if she had her car keys in the first place. Trying to contain herself in the light of the grand astonishment. She hastily rushed to the elevator back to her office. She actually thought that her car keys were there on her desk.
She quickly entered office number five block two wing C. Then there came the unexpected. There was no keys and the car was not in the park. “What happened” she asked herself. She immediately called her hubby, “Honey hurry up to my office , my car is stolen”. “Give me five minutes “, the husband said. He  did not say a word about the purported car theft. “Honey am sorry, somebody stole my car woyeee! I don’t even know what to do?”. “let’s go home!, he said.
While on the way her husband reminded her, that it was actually him, who drove her to work that day and that she had left the car at home.” Jeez! She slapped her head in disgust. The next day she leaves the car at a park in town proceed by a friend’s car, while at the door of her house she recalls that unfortunately she has forgotten the keys to her house in the car somewhere in town. Damn she has to break the door lock.
The worse form of memory loss are the days you wake up in the night and you do not remember the direction of the toilet, the wall or the door. You end up hurting yourself on some object. I have always thought that the sleep walkers are actually patients for this undesirable condition. The other worse form of memory loss is when you completely forget what you were supposed to do on a specific day, for instance forgetting that you were supposed to go to work or school or that you were supposed to catch an early bus. Today I woke up and forgot the keys to my office. I only realized this while at the office door. Somehow everyone suffers memory loss. We all forget to do one thing or another. We are taught math in school and we forget the formula. We read and forget what we have read!. Isn’t that a form of amnesia?
There are those cases of memory loss that went viral. The lady who forgot not only where her pants were after sex but also did not remember to wear it. Then there is the village boy who forgot his pair of shorts beside his poop and went back home only in his under wear. It happens daily. We forget our phones over the shop counters. We forget our pants, soap and washing nets in the public washrooms. We forget bags and umbrellas in the public vehicles. We literally forget everything everywhere. My teacher forgot her purse with fifty thousand Kenya shillings at the counter of an mpesa shop.
Interesting that we all suffer from this natural infirmity. Though the memory of a computer diminishes proportionately with the rate of information stored or relayed. God did not create the memory lapses we are all going through but they are here probably due to lifestyle. God had created a perfect being which implies that man had a well configured sufficient memory. Even though the major cause of memory loss are stress, depression and anxiety. There are other induced causes like head injury, bleeding, stroke- trauma in general. Drug and substance abuse can also raise the levels of amnesia.
So amnesia will be here to stay if we continue to live a disorganized life style, eat unhealthy and skip rest.

ELECTION LAW AMENDMENTS

WHY ELECTORAL AMENDMENTS ARE A RECIPE FOR CHAOS. I think these amendments to electoral laws are the ultimate recipe for war and violence. The laws open a legal conundrum which even lawyers cannot unlock. I see a situation in which more than one president will be announced winners if the elections are to be held. Come to think of it. If three commissioners with one acting as the chair can declare a President then the probability of Kenya declaring two presidents concurrently is more than half. It is obvious, the chairman can disappear in the like manner Chris Chege Msando disappeared. Shit do happens. If this happens and the vice assumes the powers of the chair to declare a candidate validly elected president or any other member then voila! If there is a law that will haunt the nation, it is these impromptu amendments. We can run and run from the fact of the matter; these amendments are engineered to create a conducive atmosphere and act as an incentive to rigging. After the ci

CHIEF JUSTICE IS ALSO THE HEAD OF A BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT.

CHIEF JUSTICE IS THE HEAD OF JUDICIARY. In the principles of separation of power, The President is not the head of government. He is the head of state. He heads one arm of the government called executive. The chief justice is the head of Judiciary (not attorney general). He is the president of the supreme Court - the highest court of the land. Then there is the Speaker, who is the head of parliament. Most of the times many have thought the attorney general heads the Judiciary but no. Attorney general's chief role is advising the president and parliament. He is an ex- officio member of parliament and also a member of the executive. He is part of the cabinet which forms the executive. Parliament, both Senate and Legislative assembly are charged with making laws. The executive implement those laws and other functions while Judiciary reserves the decision as to who has violated aIntern the laws and interpretes the law and the extent and impacts of those transgressions. HOW ATTACKING YOUR OPPONENT WORKS AGAINST YOU

HOW JUBILEE CAMPAIGNS FOR NASA Duale has encouraged a majority of Kenyans to send money to pay bill  991444 and your ID number as the account number. It takes men of resolve to stand on the side of truth, democracy and burry the culture of bungling presidential elections. All first and second liberation was never on a silver splatter. The third liberation even if it does not come through Raila will be the most contested compared to the former two. A new Kenya is an expensive venture, Kenyans must be ready to go the extra mile.  Kenyans will brace every hardship to the confines of  their pockets. Remember Some people like Samantha Pendo who knew nothing about elections paid with their dear lives. Many people have paid the price with their blood, it can't be equated to sending ksh 10 free of charge courtesy of Safaricom. I pity majority leader Adan Duale, he thinks he can take on Raila as his equal in a duel but every time he speaks about Odinga, the latter gains lots of p
