SUGAR WOES

I think I have finally figured what is going on in the sugar industry.  I'm looking at the other subsidiary industries in agriculture and I'm convinced the government is chief suspect in this perennial problem. Sugar problem is an economic sabotage to the people living around the sugar belt. Now this is my opinion. The genesis of sugar problem in the market is the Jubilee government itself. Immediately Jubilee came into power, sugar companies started crumbling piece by piece. A people who are economically disempowered are also politically disenfranchised. Political muscles are supported by a skeleton of economic power. Am saying the death of sugar factories was a well orchestrated onslaught against the people of western Kenya. This is why the sugar cartels are an interconnected framework of sub-cartels touching on those to whom the back of governance of this country stops. Paralysing or murdering the sugar industry means economic disempowerment of the Western part of Kenya ...

GIKOMBA FIRE TRAGEDY.

The first time Ugandan police started harassing Kenyans living in Ugingo and Migingo islands, the talk out there whispered in hushed tones was that the government had clandestinely sold the islands in lake Victoria to Yoweri Museveni's government hence the presence of Ugandan forces taking charge on formerly Kenyan island and waters. Since then investigations, survey and agreements were made and it was found those islands lie within our territorial waters. Sadly, Ugandan forces still intimidate, harass and take charge of security in these islands. Yesterday Kenyans woke up to another instance of a perennial Gikomba fire tragedy. The most widely accepted view, is that, "gikomba imeshauzwa," and now the infernos are meant to force out people. Since then several theories seeking to explain and unlock the deadlock of Gikomba fire tragedies have emerged. The Fist theory is of course that of a possible land grabbing where it is alleged some powerful political and or priva...

WHY RUTTO WILL NOT BECOME PRESIDENT.

Well secret quotas are burning the midnight oil to prevent Ruttos dream of becoming the 5fth President. This piece is authored by Anonymous writer. The Stop-Ruto movement is gathering steam in Mt Kenya. Get yourself a copy of the Star and get to know where I place Deputy President William Samoei Ruto. Politicians from the region who believe Deputy President William Ruto was behind their election defeats are working overtime to derail his plans to clinch the presidency in 2022. The Star has learnt that former governors and MPs have meeting discreetly to strategise on neutralising Ruto in the region. They are joined by officials who disagreed with the DP at the height of the International Criminal Court investigations. Some business tycoons too have joined, as they fear their economic interests will not be assured under a Ruto presidency. Read : Unity deal not about 2022 - Uhuru, Raila For a long time, Ruto has been considered the Jubilee heir-apparent and he remains a fo...

THE SPEECH OF HIS EXCELLENCY THE PEOPLE'S PRESIDENT RAILA AMOLLO ODINGA

Here is the full speech of his Excellency The people's president, Rt.Honourable Eng. Raila Amollo Odinga, from the Devolution Conference 2018 in Kakamega County. "REMARKS OF H.E RAILA ODINGA; EGH; AT THE FIFTH DEVOLUTION CONFERENCE; KAKAMEGA, APRIL 24, 2018. I am honoured to join you in celebrating our sixth year of Devolution. In the last five years, this gathering was a men only affair. Today we have three female governors. I recognize and welcome the madam governors to this club. It is my hope that after the next elections, we will have at least ten female governors. Devolution must bridge the gender gap in the country’s leadership. Our people are definitely not enjoying the best they could, but they definitely have improved iaccess to facilities and services like healthcare, roads, markets centres, early child development and agricultural services than before, thanks to devolution. This should be a constant reminder to us never to fear or oppose change for th...

A FEW PICKS ABOUT VALENTINE AND BROKEN HEARTS.

I have been following on Valentine's day heartbreaking escapades of what sacrifices guys made for the sake of love, and am left in a reality limbo. The question that rings in my mind is is if indeed love exists? A man braced himself for a two year jail term sentence for an offence which was perpetrated by his lover. Sadly the girl who stole from her father a good amount of money went ahead to incriminate her husband after they had agreed the husband would come in to stand in for his wife in prison. By the time the guy was released from incarceration his love had left him. In a separate incidence a lady boycotted their wedding, broke a relationship two days to the wedding, fled and eloped with a white German man. It happened that two days to the wedding, one of the brides maid called the groom who was far from the wedding venue, telling him the wedding was bound not to be. The groom got concerned,,travelled down south to interrogate the issue one on one. When he found the bride,...

VALENTINE'S CRAZE

IS VALENTINES DAY WORTH DYING FOR! Yesterday I was astounded by the unfortunate passing on of a man from Baringo county. Apparently the guy chose to take his life by drowning himself in a dam. His love, a young lady had declined his proposal to spend the valentine's day with him. It is sad that some people actually kill themselves over such trivial things like valentines day. How is that one particular day different from other days? How does the valentine's day change your love for another person or improve it for that matter? It is hypocritical to spice love for one night and then dull it all for a whole year. Love should be forever glowing not extinguished by a one day or night extravagant escapade. I still remember February 2008. It was a day I will never forget in my whole life. It was the day I came to my senses of love. There is this chick I was eyeing and madly engrossed with. She was a thousand miles away and I thought, though she was far away I had her reside in th...

RAILA ODINGA THE PRESIDENT

RAILA ODINGA THE PRESIDENT. Kenyans knew in their hearts ever since 8/8/2017 Raila ODINGA and his running mate Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka won the presidential elections of 2017. The mendate Kenyans hopefully bestowed upon Raila and Kalonzo was usurped by Uhuruto in a Machiavellian way. In broad day light victory was stolen from NASA. The culture of stealing elections or electoral injustice dates back to 1960s when Kenya was a non democratic state. Sadly the Devil of electoral injustice is still lording over us to date. Yesterdays swearing in ceremony of Raila, not as the people's president but as the president of the republic of Kenya, which was snubbed by his own very running mate and co principles due to fear of death hence watering down its relevance has left many who had no idea of electoral injustice scratching their heads. Yesterday's national event, national because Kenyans came out in large numbers, almost 200 times the few Kenyans who attended Jubilee coronation cer...
