WHY IEBC MUST NOT RENEGE ON THE 48,000 VOTERS.

WHY IEBC SHOULD NOT RENEGE ON ELECTION RULES.
Wafula  Chebukati, must be the most troubled man, sitting on such a hot seat that is the IEBC chair. I am intrigued by his meeting with the presidential aspirants yesterday and how the contenders are pushing him over the cliff to waver on laid down rules concerning presidential nominations.
I don’t find any reason why a country like Kenya should register such a huge number of aspirants for the post of president. It is preposterous and laughable for IEBC to waste resources including all these twenty aspirants in the ballot paper. Even if having such an astronomical number of aspirants does not affect the cost of the ballot paper, it will definitely create a huge impact on the final tally of the presidential votes.
It will lead to lots of spoilt votes. The vast list of contenders will lead to confusion especially on illiterate and semi illiterate voters who have nobody to help them vote their preferred candidate. There will be wastage of time as voters read through to find their choice, and this could either lead to some voters being left out or the voting time being prolonged, which suspense could breed chaos as voters are kept for long wait to know the results of the winner.
Apart from wasting election time, it will eat into the counting and therefore denying IEBC ample time to do a precise and accurate job with limited errors. More time will be wasted in the counting of their votes, and as if that is not enough, they will force the election into a run-off, in which they will not be contestants of.
Well it is not possible or rational to lock out these independent candidates from the presidency race, on the basis of saving on time and resources, however, they must abide by the rules, regulations and laws set to be observed by presidential candidates. This is why IEBC should not renege on the rule which compels a presidential aspirant to collect signatures of 48,000 voters, who do not belong to any party.
This rule is logical. How can you be a president of 44 million Kenyans if you can’t even have only 48,000 voters out of a mammoth 19 million voters, who supports your ideologies and have confidence in you. As it is, these independent candidates are not honest in their bid to be president. It is impossible to become a president without supporters, otherwise how will you rule the country? A mere screaming and ululating, another candidate is a failure, can never make you a successful leader or a better candidate. They need to first endear themselves to Kenyans, who will endorse them for the course of presidency. For now let them eat humble pie and build their popularity. Political leadership is not a handout to be dished out just like that.

ELECTION LAW AMENDMENTS

WHY ELECTORAL AMENDMENTS ARE A RECIPE FOR CHAOS. I think these amendments to electoral laws are the ultimate recipe for war and violence. The laws open a legal conundrum which even lawyers cannot unlock. I see a situation in which more than one president will be announced winners if the elections are to be held. Come to think of it. If three commissioners with one acting as the chair can declare a President then the probability of Kenya declaring two presidents concurrently is more than half. It is obvious, the chairman can disappear in the like manner Chris Chege Msando disappeared. Shit do happens. If this happens and the vice assumes the powers of the chair to declare a candidate validly elected president or any other member then voila! If there is a law that will haunt the nation, it is these impromptu amendments. We can run and run from the fact of the matter; these amendments are engineered to create a conducive atmosphere and act as an incentive to rigging. After the ci

CHIEF JUSTICE IS ALSO THE HEAD OF A BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT.

CHIEF JUSTICE IS THE HEAD OF JUDICIARY. In the principles of separation of power, The President is not the head of government. He is the head of state. He heads one arm of the government called executive. The chief justice is the head of Judiciary (not attorney general). He is the president of the supreme Court - the highest court of the land. Then there is the Speaker, who is the head of parliament. Most of the times many have thought the attorney general heads the Judiciary but no. Attorney general's chief role is advising the president and parliament. He is an ex- officio member of parliament and also a member of the executive. He is part of the cabinet which forms the executive. Parliament, both Senate and Legislative assembly are charged with making laws. The executive implement those laws and other functions while Judiciary reserves the decision as to who has violated aIntern the laws and interpretes the law and the extent and impacts of those transgressions. HOW ATTACKING YOUR OPPONENT WORKS AGAINST YOU

HOW JUBILEE CAMPAIGNS FOR NASA Duale has encouraged a majority of Kenyans to send money to pay bill  991444 and your ID number as the account number. It takes men of resolve to stand on the side of truth, democracy and burry the culture of bungling presidential elections. All first and second liberation was never on a silver splatter. The third liberation even if it does not come through Raila will be the most contested compared to the former two. A new Kenya is an expensive venture, Kenyans must be ready to go the extra mile.  Kenyans will brace every hardship to the confines of  their pockets. Remember Some people like Samantha Pendo who knew nothing about elections paid with their dear lives. Many people have paid the price with their blood, it can't be equated to sending ksh 10 free of charge courtesy of Safaricom. I pity majority leader Adan Duale, he thinks he can take on Raila as his equal in a duel but every time he speaks about Odinga, the latter gains lots of p
